Employment Counselors assist job seekers with finding suitable employment while they are participating at the Employment Connection. Based on a job seeker’s experience, background, and interest, an Employment Counselor will job match and make referrals to employers with current job openings. The Employment Connection has an extensive database with a variety of job openings with local employers. Opportunities range from customer service, clerical, manufacturing, administrative, maintenance, medical related, and more. Job seekers matched to job openings are able to contact employers directly, to either apply or submit their resumes—often leading to an interview. An Employment Counselor will offer job matches until participants are able to gain employment.
